Followed by a sumptuous supper with some of the Steve and Alice's wonderful friends who all pitched in with preparations all the while we were all snapping photos of the proceedings!

The whole area is so picturesque, I couldn't resist having the camera out at all times. This is the view from the front of the house towards the inlet.

The shed!

Fishing gear down in the port.

The Rosens are synonymous with Vinalhaven and we visited the museum to see how they played their part in Vinalhaven.

The famous Maine lobster.

The funnest bunch of people to spend an evening with!

This lot were about to become our dinner.

Steve cooking up a storm.

Me and Alice just having fun! We did a lot of that.

Steaming hot clams. Allan liked, I tried but not to my taste.

Everyone else LOVED them!

You will always find the boys around the BBQ.

The table was so pretty.

The food and the company was so good that.....

We did it all again at Jeanie and Dick's place the following night

Early next morning the camera came out again. So just a few pics of what I saw through the lense.

The final pic illustrates part of one of my days when Allan spent the day fishing with Steve, the chair in the sun, a good book and a cup of tea, delightful way to while away the day with a beautiful vista whichever way I looked.
