The biggest hammock I have ever seen in my life, more like a trapeze safety net!

Cutie little bird house. We saw the tiniest little hummingbird fly up to the window where Rob keeps sugar water that they love, it was too quick for me to photograph.

Rob and Alma took us off on an adventure with first stop Lunenburg, a gorgeous maritime village, lots of history, with lots to see and do.

Lunch was high on the agenda and I wore my nautical stripes to suit the occasion.

The houses and shops are painted in the brightest colours. When we first arrived Alma told me, "All the houses are painted different colours" then I noticed that the next twenty or so houses were white! Then of course they showed their true colours!

The American Bounty was on display outside the museum.

These are whalebones from a Blue Whale, I think.

The museum was one of the most amazing I have ever seen, gave Allan the chance to get behind the wheel again.

While we ate lunch we watched the end of a yacht race with vessels of all sizes coming in and tooted past the finish line.

The churches in NS are amazing. We have noticed as we have toured around that the bigger the houses are in the community the bigger the church. Sometimes there may only be a few houses but a huge church in the community. I have also noticed that there are denominational cemeteries! Saw a sign saying Methodist cemetery, only about 10 headstones in the whole place! Either Methodists live a lot longer than the rest of us or there is not many of them around!
