SLEEPING IN SEATTLE

A DAY AT PIKE PLACE AND FISHERMANS WARF

We had a big sleep in, a big breakfast, dropped the baby off to Day care and headed off to the famous Pike Place.

We stopped by Meg's office which right across the road from Hudson's day care, met her PA' boss and other work mates. Her office is rather impressive on the 14th floor with views over the water, they currently in the middle of a move to another building, hope the location and office is as impressive.

At one of the fish mongers when an order is taken they funk the whole thing up throwing the fish from the ice to to the guy who takes the money to the guy who wraps the fish, really fun. It was a quiet day, so not a lot of sales while we were standing waiting but we did manage to catch one sale, hope to upload a video when I learn how!

We headed down to the "Gum Wall". I was excited thinking I might be able to take some funky gum home to the girls! Imagine my surprise to find that the wall was a real life gum wall where people come along and leave their gum stuck to, the wall - it is DISGUSTING. But.....

Just had to leave my mark!

There was lots of other funky and grungy stuff about.

Lunch was at a little Mexican Restaurant, not much money spent on decor but it was cute. Apparently the food was good? I don't think it's my thing, but will the jury out until I try some more somewhere else.

After lunch we headed to the Warf and took a ride on the brand new ferris wheel, this gave us a view of Seattle with a totally different perspective.

Some picks of the streets of Seattle.
