Two glorious weeks of perfect weather gave us all the opportunity to enjoy the whole school holiday.
The girl came for a sleepover and we managed one last day on the waves.

The tide was high, the sea was flat but there was just enough roll to create a thumping wave. They could only ride the wash, but it was a looooooooooooong ride!
Time to build the sandcastle, the tide obliged and filled the moat but only for a little while.
Eventually it was washed away by the tide.
The water temperature has certainly dropped and so were the boards for a while!
Trying to catch fish in the creek was the next venture!
Not successful but fun!
