CATCH UP BLOGS

I've been away awhile so the catch up posts will not be in any semblance of order. Starting with a POM - yep still going with the poms but have decided it's physically impossible for me to keep up with one a day, so I'll aim for one a week with the occasional bonus - a bonus for who you ask? You of course!

This is me and a newish student from Argentina, his name is Santi (short for Santiago) and he's a sweetheart. We spend a couple of hours a week together, me helping him with English and me improving my very basic Spanish. Scrabble is a bit of a challenge and occasionally I allow him to use a Spanish word, but only if I know what the word is! Santi has graduated from 2 and 3 letter words to a 4 letter average and occasionally 5 and 6. As you can see the Spanish dictionary is still needed when charades and a drawing for explanation just doesn't cut it :)
