Today Tulle went fishing, the first trip for the season. We planned to meet her at the end of the jetty and go with the boat to moor up and hopefully see the playful dolphin that lives in the 'bay'. He has been coming up to the boats as they moor, coming right out of the water. Adam leans over the front of the boat with the grapple, the dolphin comes right out of the water for a head and back rub. Unfortunately we weren't lucky and there was no sign of our 'Flipper' from the Bay.
Thank you Baie for the POM 12 - me and Rori on the jetty.

Here they come, you can just see Tulle in pink between Steve and Allan.

Pulling up close to the jetty for us to jump aboard.

All aboard and heading for the moorings and hopefully a sighting of the friendly dolphin. Steve is holding the grapple thing that they grab the rope on the bouy, that's usually what attracts the dolphin and what Adam uses to rub his head and back.

This is the orange buoy that holds the boat's moorings.

Baie and Tulle comparing notes on how many times they 'spewed' when fishing!!

The little skipper in the wheelhouse.

Time to head ashore and no elegant way to do it, entering the dingy can only be done one way, jump or be dumped!

Heading to shore..........

.......to weigh up the day's catch and an ice cream of course!
