We drove to Adelaide for my nephew Callan's 21st birthday celebrations - he's 21! Friday was spent visiting bathroom showrooms and plumbing stores - f u n with a capital F! It took 3 and a half hours to choose TAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No photos to prove the torture but it is now almost done and dusted, we have chosen mixers and taps and basins and bath and towel rails and shelves and the list goes on - another job to tick off the list of to dos!
The first part of Callan's celebrations was family lunch at noon at the Watermark Hotel in Glenelg, for those that know the area, it used to be St Leonards opposite the Buffalo on the Patawalonga, for those that don't, the previous part of this sentence may well have been in another language!!
So, making ones self beautiful in time for lunch needed an early start - a very early start! So I called on sister (Carol) to straighten my hair for the occasion - she has the super dooper expensive I would never spend as much money in my life on a set of straighteners straightener! And the exercise began. Thinking this would be a good opportunity for a POM, I asked husband (Allan) to take a few pics....................
