CAPE BRETON AND PEI

Robert and Alma dropped us off at the Halifax Airport where we picked up our hire car. Sometimes you don't necessarily get what you want and this was one of those occasions! I wanted a tough little jeep, expected a Ford Focus or similar and got a HUGE BLACK CHRYSLER 300!! Not exactly what we needs for driving on the wrong side of the road but the roads were rather narrow with no shoulder and a ditch either side for snow to be pushed off (we presumed).




This gave Allan the opportunity to stop and visit every boat and harbour on each island!





It was also nice to be able to stop along the way at cute countryside cafes for lunch.



And find the perfect BnB for the night.
