In our neck of the woods Adam cooked up a storm, but first hand he prepared some Alaskan crab from the Bering Sea, you know the stuff from The Deadliest Catch? We also had Pt Mac Lobster from our own pots to compare it with. It was extremely sweet, a little like the meat that comes from the thick section of the lobster that the feelers are attached to. Compared pretty well actually, but I think the legs from our lobster just win the contest - just!!
In our neck of the woods we hung out on the balcony while the food cooked in the weber bbq for our last feast of 2011.
In our neck of the woods the Straties joined our feast.
In our neck of the woods we decorated the balcony with cutie colourful lanterns.
And a few bigger lanterns as well.
In our neck of the woods someone played around with the lanterns and the aperture on their camera, just for fun!
LOVE THOSE LANTERNS!
In our neck of the woods the moon was almost half and really low in the sky, so low that it appears to be hiding behind the Norfolk Pines just up the road.
In our neck of the woods someone was sleeping.
Someone was building towers.
Buzz came for a visit.
So did the Foxes.
And in our neck of the woods we watched the magnificent Sydney Harbour fireworks at 11:30am then were unexpectedly treated to the Port MacDonnell fireworks at midnight.
We were impressed!
