IT'S STARTING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

When it's pudding time!

When the old recipe book comes out.
When my kitchen bench looks like this!

And the kids crowd around.

And the DILs catch up!

All hands are in the same bowl.

Tulle's job to measure out the ingredients .

With great precision.

And just a wee bit of help from Daddy.

Rubbing rubbing.

Mixing mixing.

More rubbing.

A lot more mixing.

Adding the 'secret' ingredient!

It takes 8 eggs, 2 each to crack and mix - seems to be the most favourite part!

Nash is not as keen to put his fingers in the mix like the girls do, but I'm sure that will change.

The next favourite bit is ALL HANDS IN!

Our pudding has been made by hand (literally), I can't imagine how it could be made any other way LOL!

In go the coin.

Not to be seen again until Christmas Day lunch.

Did I say something about favourite parts???

Here is

the MOSTEST favourite part !!

It looks like a great mix this year!!

The final scrape.

It's all too tiring for some!

Time to tie up.

This is Allan's big part!

It has to be tied just right to keep the water out.

Then the rich fruity smell of the good old Christmas pudding permeats the air for hours - then you know it's Christmas!
