SEASON START 2008

It's that time again - the start of the cray season and it's a busy busy time and always a little bit exciting and hopeful that it will be a good season.
As I watched Adam and Allan drive off with their utes piled high with the pots I realised that I have been watching them drive off from our house towards the Bay for about 20 or so seasons and that it would be the last time that they would set off from our "Allendale house"! I did feel a bit sad.

Lots and lots of memories inside and outside that house!!
Well anyways, back to the business of the start of season! Welcome to our world of....
...bait and boxes!
The kids have been part of all this from very early on in their little lives and even chopping and smelling the fish bait doesn't faze them at all - they're right in there amongst it! Except for Miss B at this point.............she's somewhere still busy with beads!
