Highland Competition - Mil Lel Show

I love watching the girls dance; I love the way the kilts swish; their matching socks and sweet dancing shoes; I love the elegance of the dances; I love the fact that men and women have been dancing the same dances for hundreds of years; I love the discipline the girls learn; I love the camaraderie of the girls.

Lots to love - but I just love our gorgeous girls the most!
I even love it when they win a prize, though that's not the reason they dance. Fortunately they dance because they love it!
Tulle who is in the 6 and under section won some prizes. I am constantly amazed that little girls can remember the many steps each dance requires, especially the sword dance.

As did Baie who is now dancing in the next level of 9 and under and is learning new and more complicated dances and doing a super job!
