Home For the Winter

Here she comes, around the bend and home for the winter. A big clean up and a few minor jobs this year and the new season will come around quicker than you think!

Allan rides up top with a broom to lift any power lines along the way!






Back into the block
Easy done!
and there she sits like the Queen Mary!
to the kids she looks like Queen Mary anyway. I can remember being around the boats as a kid and they seemed ENOROMOUS!
So up the ladder with Daddy to investigate. The girls are all seasoned sailors (the 2 big ones in particular) and they all know their way around the boat, but it's just different when it's out of the water.

Then it's time to come down again and do a few jobslike clean the bottom with the high pressure hose
Bring up the cleaning gear
And all join in to push the dinghy back into the corner of the block out of the way.
