BREAKFAST WITH THE FOTUS

Friends Karina and Sam made the trip over from Bendigo for a farewell visit before heading back home to the West :) for them :( for us. Karina (Chicky - my name for her) and me (Cherry - her name for me) worked together at SMLC for four years and we became firm friends very quickly! She's such a bright and gorgeous person, the kid of person that just lights up any room she's in !!

Leila is 5 (in the red and centre) and so grown up, a soft sweet litte girl.

Miss Alira, the shy.................
...the not so shy one, is sweet and sassy!!

With a whole lot of personality to boot!

And then there's Sonny - OMGOSH!!

Couldn't you just EAT HIM RIGHT UP??? What a gorgeous little man!

Oh Yes, lucky this one is Daddy's girl - there's going to be some door knocking going on in the Fotu household in a few years time! Lucky Sammy is 6'4" and built like a big ROCK!

So we said goodbye over a delicious pancake (and icecream for the kids) breakfast at the Teakles - thanks Rob!
They are heading to Bunbury on the WA coast and a whole lot closer to family in Perth and Fremantle.

Gorgeous Leila
I could just photograph these kids for hours.
Can't believe I didn't take a pic of Karina - the blonde bombshell! I'll track down a few from the archives and do a little post down memory lane!
Good Luck and God Bless beautiful family :)

PRAYERS FOR YOU PEOPLE OF CHRISTCHURCH

We have recently experienced the awesome beauty and peacfulness of this wonderful island nation and it is hearrbreaking to see such destruction and loss of life. We send our prayers across the Tasman to our New Zealand cousins who have been struck again by another earthquake, may it reach across the miles and comfort all who have been affected.

CROWMANIA HITS TOWN

The Crows have landed - right in the middle of our town! Here's me and Tulle with our rather cutee captain Nathan van Burlo.

It's handy to have friends in high places! Well a son and a daddy!

We scored an invitation to the official welcome and met the coach 'Craigie"

Later in the day we had a group visit school for a chat and some autographs. Here's your boy Auntie Carol - how lucky were we to get Patrick Dangerfield?!!

He signed Tulle's sock!

Never gonna wash that sock again!

In the late afternoon off to Blue Lake Sports Park with a couple hundred other school aged football enthusiasts for a coaching clinic.

The summer storm had been, leaving a beautiful dark sky and sunshine in its wake :)

Tulle preparing for tackle practice...........

She hit that dummy...

Bounced right back up

And off again!

Then it was autograph time. The players were very generous with their time and took the time to chat with ALL the kids.

Most of the youngins I didn't know.

Then we caught up with this golden 'oldie'.
