THE PATIENCE OF A BIG COUSIN

Just two pieces of the puzzle to go and he's busy reading his book, I think I'll make it!

Uh Oh, here he comes to rearrange the whole thing, dang!

I'll just pop the pieces back together again.

And steer him back to his book.

Yay, it's worked and..

.....voila - puzzle complete and

look of satisfaction on face in place :)

SATURDAYS HAVE DIFFERENT MEANING

Unfortunately the shine was dulled just a little when a stray ball came on court followed by a stray kid who knocked Tulle over from behind.

She ended up with two bloodied knees and a few tears. Luckily one of our mums is a nurse and had the first aid kit handy and couple of bandaids later she was much happier.

Such is the life of a netballer!

A FROG ON THE WINDOW

This is what greeted me on the office window recently - he had quite a climb as the office is upstairs!

This is a little brown tree frog, so far we have found four different varieties visiting. Each evening on the balcony we usually find at least five to ten waiting patiently for the moths to appear for their dinner :)

OUR LAST SUNSET DINNER FOR THE SEASON

A beautiful autumn day turned into a beautiful autumn evening, alas our last warm sunset of the season.

So we brought out the candles.

Dressed the table.

And enjoyed our last balcony evening meal and watched............

..........the beautiful sunset unfold.

Let the season begin..............

The big girls are playing this year, both daughters in law playing in the same team.

Lucky for me! Can cheer both on at the same time.

A VISIT FROM COWBOY

We had a wonderful three day visit from cousin 'Cowboy' aka cousin Callan - well that's what he was baptised but Callan was shortened to Cal then lengthened to Cal Boy and it all sounded too much like Cowboy so it's stuck, well it's stuck with me anyway!
