The Face of Three and Adorable with Attitude....

Well her mum says not so adorable the last few days, maybe adorable with a bit of attitude..
She has been very excited about turning "fwee" and was very excited about her gifts. High on the list of requests has been Haigs Chocolates and they came courtesy of Auntie Ron. She quickly ran into her room and hid a bag of chocolates under her pillow so that Daddy couldn't find them..hmmm she knows her Daddy too well. But undoubtedly her favourite gift was the little packet of doll sized disposable nappies - she loved them- and loves taking them on and off her dolls.

Learning Sudoku
I am such a numbers boffin and here Carol is trying to teach me the game of sudoku (did I spell it right?) Anyway, like algebra never made any sense, this doesn't, well it kinda does but I don't think I will get as addicted to it as Carol is. It is a good exercise to keep the brain tuned, so I will stick at it.....
Deep in concentration and no idea really.......

MONKEY BAIE
INTRODUCING................
Introducing our new grandbaby who, added to our three beautiful girls will make number 4. Hmmmm does look a little bit like a little chick, but I think the little beak is actually the hand
Baby due mid August - here's Dad and Mum
Bron starting to show at last - how cute is that tummy (or 'the gut' as Adam so eloquently puts it)

THE CAKE WITH A STORY.....
Doesn't it look cute and oh so simple to put together??? Well, it took three separate bakes to get the cup cakes "Just Right". But we were pretty happy with the end result and it was a lot of fun decorating.
It looked even better with sparklers and just a couple of candles on top. Thanks to Donna from school for the cake stand.
....and a luxurious frog in a pond for the kids complete with umbrella to keep the sun off.

SOME FAVE OLDER PICS
I love taking a series of photos that tell a story - and here's "Eating Spaghetti Tulle Style"

My dearest sweet Auntie Mary passed away yesterday, it just leaves my Dad as the last living of that generation. So we will farewell her on Monday. We all have such great memories of our Auntie Mary but the most lasting is "Luvya Darlin' " always her last words whenever we said goodbye after we visited or just ran into each other in the supermarket...."Luvya Darlin' ". Love you too Auntie Mare xxxxxxx
Nothing much really to report on, except that I have a brand new camera, upgraded to the D80 Nikon that is! I really haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. My big sister Linda is visiting from Cairns and we will be having a party for Chris on Sunday and my little sister Carol flies in on Saturday, so I'm sure there will be a few opportunities there.
So in the meantime, I've been cruising through my digi photo albums and thought that I would share a few of my all time favourite pics.

BIG Change of Scenery
For you guys who haven't been in town for a long while - remember the large triangle of pine trees on the southern side of the lake that run along the top section of Bay Road from the roundabout to the little lot of vines opposite the Italian Club? Well they have been there for all of my living memory and are soon not to be there. They are in the process of logging them right now. It is going to change the scenery dramatically. I don't know if they are going to re plant, but it will look so bare, especially by the park opposite the caravan park where the guys do archery each weekend. The archers will have some wind to contend with now - so beware driving past when they are in action.......

....and all that JAZZ

Rori had her first jazz class today, she was sooooooooooooooo cute, it was the most half hour of fun I have had for a long time. She had lots of help from her big sisters to start with, but by the end of the lesson, she was going solo and lovin' it. Concentration was a tiny little issue, I mean there was a baby there to take her mind off things, and she took a little break to sit on Mummy's knee for a while. BUT she sure knows how to do the splits, and took centre stage to do it without any probs. The last couple of photos a little blurry, but it's hard dodging other kid's heads and arms and legs etc. But you get the idea....

Holiday's over and it's back to dance practice

Saturday mornings at the Highland Dance School - the girls were a little rusty but soon got back into the swing of things. It's an exhausting exercise even for these fit little girls! Rori thought that she might have a go this morning but changed her mind at the last minute, I'm sure it wont be long before she's pulls on the dancing shoes. In the meantime picking petunias is fun!
