And a pretty special one from Josh - who announced to everyone that is was from the "Bling Box" and he got to choose the colour!! How cute! Josh has 2 big sisters, I think they might have had something to do with the choice too! Here we are with our gorgeous 6 year old Big sister Little sister Another amazing Jaime & Steve creation!! A rather stunning pink puffy poofy poodle - every girl should have one! So - above is the poodle BEFORE Below is the poodle DURING AND HERE IS THE POODLE AFTER!!

A DAY AT DREAMWORLD

The funnest day at Dreamworld meeting the locals at Wiggle World.
Riding in the Tea Cup....
The Bean didn't want a ride "It's too babyish!" she said.
Steve talked her into it and just about spun her back to SA!!
It made me dizzy just watching!!
Then into Nickelodeon (an update later on the tigers)
B & T on the Wet Pants Dodgey Bob ride or something like that!!

T just make the height - they loved it!
Then I crammed into the poor puppy, just managed to pull the safety bar down and it sat very firmly on my tummy - check out the bar against my arm - it left a dent for days!!!
Little R was none too impressed that she couldn't go on the Big Pants Hot Dog ride with the girls, but she was most happy on the swing with Grandad.
There's that groovy Hairy Bob Hot Pants again.............
And we were all plum tuckered by the end of the day
All except Dora the Explorer! She was the only one with her eyes open on the way home!!

Back to The Gold Coast

We had pretty nice digs! A penthouse on two levels, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen dining living and 2 balconies that were put to good use. Plenty of room for us all.
We arrived at the resort at 9:30ish and the pool was closed at 10pm. I've never seen 3 kids shed their clothes and put their togs on so fast! We were in the pool in no time.
Then we tried out the spa, it was huge and very very warm.
Miss R had a ball.............
And was none too pleased when we had to get out of the water and head back to our apartment.

Next day it was all about the pool! Or I should say pools, there were a few plus the spas. And fun

and fun
and fun
and fun
and more fun!!!

Our First Morning on Beautiful Broadbeach

On our first morning we took a stroll to the supermarket for supplies, via the beach...
The first of several sunny days.

But our only one at the beach.

Collected shells, lots and lots of shells. The girls filled up their crocs with shells!

IT WAS VERY VERY VERY EXCITING!!!

We had suitcases packed, driven the five hours to Melbourne and with much excitement we arrived at the airport only to find that when you travel "Tiger"our newest economy airline there are definitely no frills but you do get a 500m dash to their check in area which is quite separate from the main area, not undercover, dodge traffic and hope it doesn't rain! But when you fly from one end of the country to almost the other end for $55 you can not complain (out loud anyway)!

Our little one asked several times: "Are you excited?!"
She was and we were too.
Here we are in line on the tarmac, with cover this time waiting to board our "Tiger".

And here's our Tiger welcoming us aboard but not before I almost had my camera confiscated for taking this photo on the tarmac. Haven't worked out if it was for national security or if my amazingly powerful flash would bring down a plane!! Can someone let me know?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE

Happy Birthday 4 year old!Your Pressie's in the Post!

CREATIVITY

These girls LOVE doing 'craft'! They cut and paste and colour and stick and create - using any thing that's available and takes their imagination. They make people and houses and animals and cameras and flowers and things and more things! Their imagination is boundless and they can sit on the big outdoor table in the court yard for hours doing their crafty thing.

Miss B is making a house complete with people.

T drawing

Baby R just loves to cut (and cut and cut and cut)!
And it's great for her coordination.

A good healthy and creative fun past time for three little girls.
